  4. Oooh, please add me! I can't wait for the 18th of December, when it feels as if Christmas starts properly. The children all end school with a carol service, and then we have two wonderful weeks of making gifts and food and catching up with family and friends.

  9. Me, too. Me, too. I used to love to decorate. Sparkly lights inside and out, tinsel, garland, ornaments. Even in the bathroom. I do not do it anymore since children are now adults and do their own thing. We are having a fish fry on New Year's Eve at the in-laws instead. Still love the lights and sparkle, though. I love your artwork and really love the hook! Tell hubby he done good!!!

  11. I love baking this time of year, so many types of cookies to make and decorate. And they can make easy presents to give to people :)

  12. I love the scents of Christmas; Pine, Cinnamon, allspice, baking, mahonia blossoms, The taste of rose scented turkish delight. Making presents and tree ornaments for the home and friends.
Carol service on Christmas eve, the expectation and thrill of coming home to the lit tree late on Christmas eve night, and we open one present each then too. Feeding the horses on Christmas morning, somehow is always special. I like to cook with carols and hymns playing in the background, and I love to watch all those wonderful old black and white films they show that always have happy endings, and a lot star Doris day and James Stewart.
Congratulations on a wonderful blog how do you make it snow, I'm so impressed.:) Linda x

  13. I love the smells! Pine trees and pies and nutmeg and cloves and vanilla...wrapping paper and cinnamon..mmm! That's Christmas time to me!

And prezzies, of course. More in the giving than the getting, as I get older. I love the look on someone's face when I get it right, and give them something they really like!

  14. I am so happy to see all of the wonderful comments here! And thank you for all of the nice compliments on my new blog! I'm so glad you like the snow! Up here in Northern Minnesota it snows so much it even gets into the computer screen.:0) Well, I guess it doesn't get quite that bad. But when I did stumble on a few other blogs with this fantastic snow, I knew it was perfect for the Chronicles of Whimsy's winter. So with a little help from my computer savvy hubby it began to snow in Whimsy land!

Entry names for the first Chronicles of Whimsy giveaway are accumulating in the Christmas vessel, with just a little time left before the vessel is stirred and the winners drawn. How exciting! Good luck everyone!...tick, tock, tick, tock
