  1. Oooo, yippeeeee! Throw my name into the magic Christmas vessel:) Love your work AND the hook too. I could think of a few places that that would look great in my house. The blog make over is stupendous as well - love the snow! My daughter is completely enchanted by your header and would not let me turn away from it the other day. What I love about this Christmas? Making great gifts for friends, family and customers and ejoying time with my husband and daughter. Christmas is so magical with a 3 year old!

  2. ME, ME, ME!!!!!! Yahoooo! Please enter me!! I adore your work! I love your blog and how it has turned out.

Christmas has always been a magical time of the year for me. The chance for things to slow down somewhat and spend time with friends.

  3. What I love about Christmas is that all my kids will be home from college and we will all be tog. again :) Can't wait. :)

Love your work, nice to meet you, regards, T.

    Have a wonderful weeekend :)

  4. Oooh, please add me! I can't wait for the 18th of December, when it feels as if Christmas starts properly. The children all end school with a carol service, and then we have two wonderful weeks of making gifts and food and catching up with family and friends.

  5. I love spending time during the holidays with my family and our animal family too, kitties, Moses and Tala, and foster puppy Whiskey... I also love baking vegan chocolate chip cookies and making vegan potato latkes...! :) Yum! Michele,

  6. Ohhh.. your work is beautiful! I found you thanks to Jennifer at The Mare's Tales.
Honestly, right now there is nothing I like about the holiday season. I'm hoping that will change.

  7. All the family are coming and I just can't wait for us to be all together… that's what I like best!

  8. Everyone is coming to our house (including extended family). It's the first time in several years that we'll all be together & I'm really looking forward to it.

  9. Me, too. Me, too. I used to love to decorate. Sparkly lights inside and out, tinsel, garland, ornaments. Even in the bathroom. I do not do it anymore since children are now adults and do their own thing. We are having a fish fry on New Year's Eve at the in-laws instead. Still love the lights and sparkle, though. I love your artwork and really love the hook! Tell hubby he done good!!!

  10. *waves* I love Christmas =) Family and celebrations =) playing with the kids =) Fruitcake (not the store bought brick, but the homemade melt in your mouth one!), and best of all - Jesus, the reason for the season =)

Love your snow on your blog! much better than the snow on the ground =p I know - I am a wimp! lol!

Great give-away! Thanks! and congras to whoever wins!

  11. I love baking this time of year, so many types of cookies to make and decorate. And they can make easy presents to give to people :)

  12. I love the scents of Christmas; Pine, Cinnamon, allspice, baking, mahonia blossoms, The taste of rose scented turkish delight. Making presents and tree ornaments for the home and friends.
Carol service on Christmas eve, the expectation and thrill of coming home to the lit tree late on Christmas eve night, and we open one present each then too. Feeding the horses on Christmas morning, somehow is always special. I like to cook with carols and hymns playing in the background, and I love to watch all those wonderful old black and white films they show that always have happy endings, and a lot star Doris day and James Stewart.
Congratulations on a wonderful blog how do you make it snow, I'm so impressed.:) Linda x

  13. I love the smells! Pine trees and pies and nutmeg and cloves and vanilla...wrapping paper and cinnamon..mmm! That's Christmas time to me!

And prezzies, of course. More in the giving than the getting, as I get older. I love the look on someone's face when I get it right, and give them something they really like!

  14. I am so happy to see all of the wonderful comments here! And thank you for all of the nice compliments on my new blog! I'm so glad you like the snow! Up here in Northern Minnesota it snows so much it even gets into the computer screen.:0) Well, I guess it doesn't get quite that bad. But when I did stumble on a few other blogs with this fantastic snow, I knew it was perfect for the Chronicles of Whimsy's winter. So with a little help from my computer savvy hubby it began to snow in Whimsy land!

Entry names for the first Chronicles of Whimsy giveaway are accumulating in the Christmas vessel, with just a little time left before the vessel is stirred and the winners drawn. How exciting! Good luck everyone!...tick, tock, tick, tock
